Our work together will include six critical steps to achieve a collaborative and successful executive performance review: 

  1. Assess what level of board training and executive performance review facilitation are appropriate
  2. Review and refine the current executive performance review policy, or develop one for Board approval
  3. Provide an appropriate executive performance review tool or help create a customized version
  4. Conduct a training in leading practices for executive performance review, and/or provide assistance in implementing the review process
  5. Facilitate a discussion after the training or the review process to consider lessons learned
  6. Conduct a six-month check-in with the Board Chair and Chief Executive to foster follow-through and accountability
