Youth Education Nonprofit Selects Interim Executive

Third Sector Company is pleased to announce that Arthur Padilla has been selected as the Interim Executive Director of Peace Community Center (PCC) in Tacoma, Washington.

 

Peace Community Center creates transformational educational experiences for Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood youth and families of promise empowering future success in college, career, and community leadership. They work to address systemic racism, through effective education, in the Hilltop Neighborhood. The agency partners with the Lutheran Peace Congregation, where they share the same space and collectively support young people to thrive. PCC works with Hilltop Scholars to dismantle the elements of systemic oppression.

One of the most amazing outcomes of this project is how many teachers in the Hilltop area started their journey at Peace Community Center. The board is actively engaged in Board Chairs Academy and often expresses their gratitude for Third Sector Company! Thank you PCC and Tacoma for inviting us into your world!

 

Arthur is a graduate of Interim Executives Academy Class #1 and offers 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience. He has earned a reputation as a visionary leader with strong community facilitation skills, a specialist in interim executive leadership, DEIA assessment and strategic planning. He is also an executive coach on how to dismantle racism. Arthur earned a BA and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Prescott College.
