West Seattle School Finds Interim Solution

The entire team at Third Sector Company is pleased to share that Rebecca Lane, a seasoned interim professional and graduate of Interim Executives Academy, is serving as Interim Executive Director for the Community School of West Seattle.


The Community School of West Seattle is a nonprofit organization building a community where all children are honored and respected as naturally capable, curious, and creative beings.


“Community School of West Seattle is a beautiful, kind, engaged community preschool serving West Seattle, White Center, and points south in Seattle,” said Rebecca.The staff is dedicated and enthusiastic! And of course, the building is full of darling 3 – 5 year olds. Because of the incredible preparation and support that I’m receiving from Third Sector Company, I’m excited to serve this well-loved organization as we take the next steps in securing affordable, play-based education in our community.”


Rebecca is a graduate of Interim Executives Academy Class #10 and offers more than 20 years of nonprofit management experience. She is recognized for her design approach to organizational change and development through the lens of racial equity and inclusion. Rebecca holds previous Interim Executive Director experience at Tacoma Farmers Market, Green Plate Special, NW Network of Bi, Trans, Gay, and Lesbian Survivors of Abuse, and Clarion West all in Seattle. Rebecca is former adjunct faculty at Antioch University and also holds an MA in Whole Systems Design, and Community Development from the same institution.
