“For an art collector and Latina, the opportunity to assist the Museum of Latin American Art with their finance and operations needs is a match made in heaven,” says Maria Nazario of her recent interim placement in Long Beach. “The role of an interim is a challenge, but it is very rewarding,” says Maria. “It is a wonderful place to work.”
Third Sector Company interim executive Maria Nazario is one of our most recent affiliates and placements in Southern California. She attended our Interim Training Learning Lab and became an interim in just a couple of weeks!
Maria’s experience in nonprofit management began with the American Red Cross where she spent 7 years as professional staff and another 15 in volunteer leadership. She later spent 20+ years in association management as Director of Strategic Relations for the California Society of CPAs and then as CEO of Integra International, an international accounting association based in London. Additionally, she has a passion for helping others and has served as operations manager on numerous federally declared disaster operations in and outside the US providing much needed support in times of crisis.
