LGBTQ+ Health Provider in Central Florida Selects Interim Executive

Third Sector Company is thrilled to share that Syvonne Carter has been selected as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of 26Health in Orlando, Florida.


The 26Health mission is to improve mind-body-spirit health in Central Florida’s LGBTQ+ and ally community. The vision of 26Health is to offer quality care and services for all Central Floridians regardless of their ability to pay. 26Health is a comprehensive wellness community that includes affordable healthcare, mental health care, a drug discount program, adoption services, aesthetic services, and more.


“The 26Health Board of Directors has appointed Syvonne Carter as Interim CEO,” said the board in a statement. “Ms. Carter has a 20-year career with proven success serving in executive positions in healthcare and the federal government. Her experience and wisdom will continue to reinforce and expand  26Health’s connections to members and the Central Florida community.”


Syvonne is a graduate of Interim Executives Academy Class #12 and brings 20 years of experience in the federal government and healthcare industry, serving in both interim and C-Suite executive roles. She served as the Chief, Business Operations and Health Administration Services Officer at the Corporal Michael J. Crecencz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA and North Florida/South Georgia VA Health System (NF/SG) in Gainesville, FL. Syvonne attended Marquette University majoring in Organizational Leadership.
