Jeff Wacha

Fostering leadership continuity solutions for nonprofit organizations is the mission of Third Sector Company. In that pursuit, since 2002, Third Sector Company has become a nationally recognized pioneer and leader in the training and the support for strategic short-term leadership of nonprofit organizations. Our interims provide defined critical deliverables in their day-to-day management of organizations in transitions.

An interim can also be an important element of a search process, offering a proven candidate for the full-time position. This is exactly the case for St. John Bosco High School in Southern California, which hired Third Sector Company Interim Professional, Jeff Wacha, as its new Chief Financial Officer.

As an interim, my focus was to offer leadership to the school’s financial operations over a few months time,” says Jeff. “Now it is a great honor to have been asked to lead the continued excellence of the school’s financial and administrative systems over the long-term.

Dennis Mulhaupt, president of St. John Bosco says, “All the recommendations and feedback I received on Jeff’s performance from key individuals and groups were entirely positive and favorable. He has been performing admirably in this role for the last several months as interim CFO and he has established strong relationships and support from all of our constituencies. We congratulate and welcome Jeff to his new permanent position.

Jeff brings a wealth of previous experience to St. John Bosco as former Executive Vice President and General Management for Third Sector Company. He is also the former Vice President of Finance and Operations at Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire.

There is a brotherhood, a lifelong camaraderie grounded in faith, intellect, leadership and citizenship at St. John Bosco High School. Since 1940, it has been dedicated to forming young men of purpose. The distinctive approach to education creates a welcoming school environment where every young man can maximize his God-given potential to become something greater than himself.
