Third Sector Company is very proud to announce that Janice Tsao has been named Interim Executive Director at Redeeming Love, a faith-based nonprofit located in Los Angeles County with a mission to be a conduit of restoration for survivors of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Founded in 2013, the residential program offers 12-18 months of transitional housing and wrap-around care for survivors of sex trafficking who are in need of a safe place to recover once they have been rescued and stabilized.
“This is an emerging organization with a mission to serve the underserved,” says Janice of her new placement. “I am honored to bring my leadership experience to ensure the effective execution of a mission to serve this community of survivors.”
Janice is a compassionate leader with an extensive and diverse background in social services, international relief, and higher education. Most of her professional life has been spent serving lower-resourced and vulnerable populations, locally and in majority world nations. She previously served as Chief of Staff in University College at Azusa Pacific University and as the Executive Director of The Haven for the Salvation Army. Janice holds a Master’s degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
