Third Sector Company is proud to share that Ellen Meyer Shorb, a graduate of Interim Executives Academy, has been selected as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Preemptive Love Coalition a U.S.-based, international organization.


Preemptive Love Coalition (PLC) is a global community of peacemakers working to end war and stop the spread of violence. PLC stretches across Iraq, Syria, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico and the United States to provide relief, jobs and material aid to communities on the frontlines of conflict. They do this by living and working in polarizing conflict zones, providing emergency relief to families persecuted by terrorism and violence, jobs for displaced families and community building.


This organization provides relief, jobs, and businesses for refugees and displaced persons in the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America while sowing the seeds of peacemaking,” said Ellen.

Ellen is a graduate of Interim Executives Academy Class #12 and has a passion for helping visionaries, teams, and boards successfully address economic and social inequities in the world. In her career, she spent 10 years as a senior manager in three different nonprofits, followed by 20 years as a nonprofit strategy and leadership consultant. Ellen earned a BA in History from Dartmouth College, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from Stanford University.
